Offerings for professional care providers

A nourishing space for professionals whose vocational work is caring for others to hold in safety and care who you’re becoming as humans. Receive care yourself in a lifegiving space with arts based exploration to investigate and move through the things you carry with you. A space for you to explore the impact of your vocational work. An invitation to continually be in discovery of your own personhood and wellbeing.

  • For healthcare providers, social workers, education professionals, non-profit service providers.

Groups are offered monthly on Fridays; individual appointments as my schedule allows.

Professional Supervision and vocational mentoring for licensed mental health counselors and expressive art therapists/change Agents

I have held space for mental health and ExAT professionals for more than twenty years. In supervision, I provide a space for therapists to grapple with the intricacies of relational work and systemic struggles we all face in the field. I especially focus on creating a nourishing, safe opportunity for explorations that facilitate providers’ ability to practice with agility, resiliency, cultural humility, and greater personal and vocational freedom.

  • Supervision provides opportunities to explore life and wellbeing through creative and expressive arts practices.

  • My approach is grounded in liberationist and womanist understandings that foster freedom for professionals to continually discover their own wellbeing and nurture spaces for others to do the same.

  • Group supervision provides an exponential benefit of collaborative synergy that contributes to the care experienced, the multiplicity of ideas that emerge, and the laughter and lovingkindness that erupts between participants.

Groups are offered monthly on Fridays; individual appointments as my schedule allows.

“I had a truly wonderful time working with Mary and felt like I gained new, tangible skills as well as a broader scope of practice-centered understanding. Mary was incredibly responsive to my needs and the nuances of my learning style. She helped me improve my knowledge of theory, develop new strategies for applying it, and remember to uplift my own self-care and creative vitality along the way. I very highly recommend her as a supervisor, educator, and consultant.”
