Leaders and change-agents
Leading effectively in any situation, in any organization, depends upon the integrity and relational capacities of the leader. As a change agent, Mary comes alongside collaborative leaders and Expressive Arts professionals to help form what truly matters. Those who work with Mary gain insight about the places they feel “stuck” and practical strategies to move forward with synergy, openness and imagination. Leaders, leadership teams and organizations experience a sense of ease while becoming more elastic, fluid, collaborative and productive. This is the work of The Art of Integrity, to explore and interweave interior, relational and practical wisdom to form what matters today and for the long term.
“Knowledge is not possible without experience, and experience is inconceivable without the senses and feelings they arouse in us.”
— Boaventura de Sousa Santos
Mary brings the capacity for creative play and arts-based explorations that engage the senses, intuition and emotional awareness as a way of exploring new possibilities. Curiosity, wonder and the imagination guide the work of forming something new, interesting and expansive. People become unstuck! This is where Beauty and Joy meet us in the unfolding of ourselves, our work and our world.

“Dr. Mary Putera, has been inspirational to me personally and our company. Our organizational mindset has been permanently changed. As a man that has operated at an interim CEO, and turn around manager for many years, Mary taught me to be more impactful through dynamic collaboration. I learned to slowly and patiently engage our entire team in planning, problem solving and creating a future in business that was rewarding and satisfying. We as a team learned how to speak openly and honestly with each other and listen with curiosity. Mary facilitated the forming of our organizational core values of Communication, Integrity, Growth and Collaboration. All our employees are influencing and impacting every level of the organization with great ideas grounded in practical knowledge, with creativity. Mutual respect is now the core of our cultural identity here.”
— Tom Iddings, GM
“The groundwork we have laid over the past few years has helped me see things clearer and better relate to our team. It has also helped me to see where I need to be directly involved in the work. I value Mary’s time and skillset and the work that we do.”
— Jon, CEO
